There’s only one way to enjoy Drizzt as he was meant to be experienced - go back in time to the 1990s and magically de-age yourself into a 13-year-old. Then forget the existence of every fantasy book published since 2000 and imagine that most of the shelves are Tolkien pastiche and never ending series by a couple of guys named Terry.

Drizzt is basically Twilight for boys. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. I remember wiling away many hours in front of a Drizzt novel. Hell, I remember it pretty fondly.
